Service Description

The Core Basic Training Only course is designed for students who need to retake the 54-hour Core Basic portion of the Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA) training program. This course is ideal for individuals who have exceeded their state testing attempts or allowed their licensing timeline to lapse and need retraining to continue the certification process. This structured 5-day program focuses on rebuilding caregiving knowledge, strengthening hands-on skills, and preparing students for success on the Washington State HCA exam. Training includes skills review, guided skills practice, and comprehensive instruction using the Fundamentals of Caregiving Handbook.
