Orientation and Safety
Our Orientation and Safety (5-Hour) training provides the essential foundation every caregiver needs to begin working safely and confidently. This course covers core topics such as workplace expectations, infection control, emergency preparedness, and injury prevention. Designed to meet Washington State requirements, this training ensures caregivers are prepared to protect themselves and their clients from day one.
Mental Health Level 1
Our Mental Health Level 1 (8-Hour) training provides caregivers with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to support clients with mental health conditions. This course covers common mental health disorders, effective communication techniques, behavior support strategies, and maintaining professional boundaries. Caregivers will learn how to provide safe, respectful, and person-centered care while promoting emotional well-being.
Nurse Delegation Special Focus on Diabetes
Our Nurse Delegation – Special Focus on Diabetes training builds on the Nurse Delegation Core and prepares caregivers to safely support clients with diabetes under the supervision of a registered nurse. This course covers blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, recognizing signs of hypo- and hyperglycemia, and proper documentation. Caregivers will gain the skills and confidence needed to provide safe, accurate, and compassionate care for clients with diabetic needs.
Prerequisite: Nurse Delegation Core Certificate required.
Dementia Level 1
Our Dementia Level 1 (8-Hour) training provides caregivers with a strong foundation in understanding dementia and delivering compassionate, person-centered care. This course covers common types of dementia, stages of progression, communication strategies, and behavior support techniques. Caregivers will learn how to create a safe, respectful environment while supporting each client's dignity and independence.
Nurse Delegation
Our Nurse Delegation Core training provides caregivers with the essential knowledge and skills needed to safely perform delegated nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. This course covers roles and responsibilities, scope of practice, infection control, proper documentation, and safe task performance. Caregivers will gain the confidence to follow nurse direction while delivering safe, high-quality care.
